Royal Look is a full-service barber shop in the heart of Greater Victoria, set inside Broadmead Village Shopping Centre where Royal Oak Drive meets the Pat Bay Highway. That central spot puts us within easy reach of downtown, Saanich, and the western communities alike — a straight drive in, with free parking in the lot right out front. No meters, no circling the block.
Skin fades are what we're best known for. Our barbers blend the hair down to the skin by hand, shaping every fade to your hairline and the length you want left on top rather than forcing it into a template. Low, mid, or high, the finish comes out clean and sharp every time.
If you're after something more traditional, the classic men's cut is our bread and butter — a well-proportioned scissor or clipper cut, tidied clean around the ears and neck at an unhurried pace. It's the dependable haircut you can come back for week after week and know exactly what you'll get.
We round it out with careful beard work and a hot-towel straight-razor shave for anyone who wants the full treatment. Royal Look is open every day of the week, nine to seven Monday through Friday and nine to five on weekends. Yes! We welcome walk-ins whenever we have availability — no appointment needed. Just stop by during our open hours and we'll get you in.
A regular cut takes about 30–45 min and is $28. A skin fade takes 45–60 min at $30. We never rush — every cut gets the time it needs.
Absolutely. We take kids aged 3 and up. Our barbers are patient and experienced with young clients. Kids cuts are $25 and take about 20–30 min.
